Introduction
Background Music
Many digital publications make optimal use of sound throughout the content. In Barisco sound can be added as background music.
This can be done in two ways or the combination of both:
- Edition Based Background Music
- Page Based Background Music
Edition Based Background Music
With Edition Based Background Music, the Background Music plays once the first page is displaying and will play on every page continiously.
Edition Based Background Music can be configured by opening the Edition Settings window and then clicking on the Music Tab on the left hand-side of the window.
Page Based Background Music
This means that the audio file that has been configured will only play once the visitor enters the page to which the audio file has been applied to. If Edition Based Background Music has also been configured, the Page Based Background Music will override the Edition Based Background Music.
Page Based Background Music can be configured by opening the Page Settings window and then clicking on the Music Tab on the left hand-side of the window.
Note: If you want to have music and a video on a page that immediately starts to play you have to keep in mind that the music file is loaded first. So in that case you will fist hear the music and later the sound of the video. When the video is loaded, the sound of music will be dimmed and you can hear the sound of the video.
